Octopus were fine until I had to use their customer service when moving house. They totally messed it up, so I switched. Then months later they tried to get more money out of me for a house I no longer lived in, which I had final bills for.

Good to know! I just assumed anything Z80 and non specific to the hardware they'd try locally first. Was it used for machines like the BBC or the Dragon at all do you know? Or just found a niche with the more popular 8 bits?

I always assumed when people developed on an Einstein for the Spectrum they could at least run some of the Z80 code on the Einstein to test things. But given the C64 version (with it's 6502) you mention did they just use it as an editor/assembler and only ever run on the target machine?
