I love using database ORMs. Some developers don't understand SQL very well, so instead you can use an ORM to abstract your queries into a custom DSL that nobody understands. That's equality.

We now have to cover the costs of a campaign *and* a legal battle to preserve our First Amendment rights.

There's nothing I flip flop more on than Typescript. One day it's amazing and the next, it's the bane of my fucking existence.

Remember to turn up your thermostat to conserve energy for the datacenters so that bad actors can use AI to create misinformation to convince you to vote against your best interests. 🫡

You didn't replace your HR with an AI agent that can approve PTO. That's four if statements in a trench coat. You could have done that in 1982.

I just received a call from my eye doctor informing me that I have to reschedule my 7/3 eye exam because I'm not eligible until 7/8, according to insurance. Heaven forbid. I nearly scammed them out of... something?

Dungeon Crawler Carl was definitely my surprise favorite of May! I also picked Dexter back up after a 10 year break. It's going okay.

I really squandered my 20s. I should've drank more.

Now it just makes me sleepy and my stomach upset.

It's interesting how life ends up vs what you expected in your youth.

Like, I'm 41 and still don't know how to take off a piece of masking tape without destroying it.

Wild.

I don't understand. The doctor tells me I should do something to elevate my heart rate for 30 minutes most days. But panic attacks don't count?

I find riding Amtrak to be immensely pleasant and wish we invested more in rail. The options in Michigan are woefully limited.

Sleepy Joe Biden is so incredibly inept that he managed to skillfully tank the economy exactly on Donnie's 100th day in office.

None of these end of the world movies seem realistic anymore because none of them feature the fact that you just have to keep going to work every day as shit worsens all around you.
