Establishment political parties are indeed corrupt. Because of the money allowed in politics. We have two choices:
1. Revolt, which, with the apathy that is currently obvious in America will not succeed
2. Work with the democratic party to try to move them in the right direction.

Sorry you feel that way. That hasn't been my experience. Years as a firefighter/EMT working with officers that were helpful. Hard core? Yes, they have to be sometimes, but helpful beyond belief when they are needed. It's a hard job in a mostly uncaring society. Don't judge all by the acts of a few

Qualified Immunity applies when an officer doing their duty, follows their training and the law. If an officer goes outside their procedures and training or breaks a law they can be prosecuted.
Qualified Immunity only keeps them from being sued while doing their duty to the best of their ability

I absolutely agree all federal agents should be unmasked. If they are afraid of retribution, maybe they should change tactics. Taking a guy at Home Depot trying to get work into custody doesn't require a heavily armed force. It requires tact and compassion.

We can, and should, do both. Stand against a wannabe dictator and work to make all citizens pay their fair share.
On that note: since SCOTUS has decided that corporations are people, they should pay the same rate people pay, no exceptions... Just sayin

They may stay silent during an incident to keep it from being even worse. That doesn't mean nothing is done behind the scenes. A lot of disciplinary action takes place without publicity. There are review boards that are not police officers that take action. Dismissals happen pretty frequently

It isn't every cop everywhere. Please stop. I am as against trump and his shit as anyone. Some police are bad. Most are good people doing a hard job.
