this is because i don't know anything about the personality of the person i want to interact yet, and my brain, instead of keeping it's mouth shut, starts thinking that the person i'm trying to interact with will respond to my attempts at socialization in a negative way

Every time i want to interact with someone in a place like an anime convention or sometimes even the places i usually go to. I get REALLY anxious since my mind automatically generates outcomes of the interaction, and they're often really negative
