I assume they can do more than even they know. The challenges are my lack of highly proficient bilingualism, time to build differentiated and engaging curricula that meets my expectations, and external forces.

Paraphrasing, but essentially learning that it is “indisputably accepted by research that” it will take students 4 to 7 years to acquire the “conversational language” necessary to then learn “academic language” and I am feeling a little overwhelmed… but the not defeated.
