"I don't argue with people John Brown would have shot"
"Until we are all free, none of us are free"
For my entire life, over 60% of the country has lived paycheck to paycheck (and have little to no guaranteed vacation time). Yet somehow, people on here are still baffled how repeating ad nauseum "our economy is the best on Earth" didn't win over the average voter

I still go back every once in a while, when I dust off my 360, and play On The Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness 1 & 2. Wild it's been almost 17 years, but those are still, imo, 2 of the most underrated games of all time and these 2 nerds are a huge part of that

Mark is about as far from infallible as a superhero named "Invincible" can be, but he has unwavering determination to do good and be better each day, even in the face of some of the most brutal on-screen beating I've ever seen

Urban Shadows is a fun, relatively simple, PBTA system that uses mythology, folklore, etc, in a modern fantasy setting (which personally I enjoy more than high fantasy) that is fun *if* you are looking for something significantly more RP focused than combat focused

I even acknowledge Trump is worse in my OP. I just state how Dems failed to motivate voters with their messaging because it sucked. That's a fact, and for that, I get attacked because you Dem loyalists think they can never fail, only be failed which is why you lose what should be layups of elections

This isn't about just Harris. It's the entire feckless Dem party and how their "lesser of two evils" shtick where they failed to prosecute Trump and fell back on decorum the other side doesn't respect failed to motivate enough voters. Go ahead and stick your head in the sand about that if you want

Inscryption is the kind of game I recommend frequently but have a hard time explaining why without spoilers. Even after I beat it, they added the rogue-lite act 1 mode that ate up another several dozen hours of my time. So easy to play "just one more game"

The prequel films have always been prescient, I & II are just not fun to watch. III is legit good tho. As a whole, I find I have fun discussing the prequels and their lore/themes but not so much fun watching them (at least I & II)

For me, that's because manual saves are about assuring I keep my current progress. Any game that has a manual save option, I have a "save after anything I don't want to redo" policy, if for nothing else, peace of mind. Autosaves are just insurance against crashes, power outages, etc.

I didn't mention Coup because I assume that would fall under the obvious ones most board game people already know about, but I'll throw it out there anyway just in case since it plays up to 6 and is a fun mix of social and strategy elements for how quick the games go

Big fan of "Once Upon a Time." Everyone is dealt cards with typical items, people, places, etc. from fairy tales. You try to be the first to place all your cards to tell a cohesive fairy tale, but only 1 person has control of the story at a time (with different mechanisms to change whose turn it is)

Also I really enjoy learning about all the ins and outs of the industry. From learning how moves are done safely to hearing about the culture backstage, there really isn't another form of entertainment quite like it so I find it fascinating

As a kid: A friend brought over SvR 07, we played all night, things snowballed from there

Again, as an adult: I heard Vince was finally ousted, which got me semi-interested, then the road to WM40 sealed it. I could tell they're taking storytelling more seriously and not just hunting for cheap pops

Blades in the Dark for heisting and Urban Shadows for more RP less combat focused gameplay
