Across much of the Angloshere, when utilities are privatised (sold off for a pittance), the promised "efficiencies" never, ever lead to lower consumer prices, and the job losses that ensue lead directly to fat executive bonuses (at this point a former politician or public servant is receiving it)

It might take a couple of generations before western people start accepting the citizens of russia as being normal.

I remain hopeful that we in the west will finally wake up from our slumber and understand what the autocratic allies are up to, and respond accordingly.
