Started Dispatch and I’m really liking it so far. It’s very Telltale. I love the story and the performances, but the biggest surprise for me is the actual “dispatch” part where it turns into a strategy/resource management game. It’s fun!

Beat Silent Hill f! Still more endings to unlock but it’s good! There’s not much competition but it’s easily the best original SH game in 15+ years. I loved the story, characters, setting, and atmosphere. The only thing I disliked was the combat but it wasn’t the worst either.

Beat Metal Gear Solid Delta! It’s an excellent 1:1 remake of MGS 3 with minor gameplay tweaks and some bonus stuff mixed in. It doesn’t replace the original for me, but it’s a fun way to experience one of the best games of all time in a more modern lens.

There’s still more I want to do but I beat Death Stranding 2. I loved it! It might be my GOTY and I honestly think it’s one of Kojima’s best games. The story, direction, characters, music are all phenomenal. It’s still very much a delivery man game, but it also feels like MGS 6.

Loving Death Stranding 2! Visually speaking, it’s the best looking game on PS5. It almost looks photorealistic. The gameplay is a natural evolution from the last game but there’s way more MGS 5 DNA in this. I loved Phantom Pain so the combat is a ton of fun for me.

Beat DOOM: The Dark Ages! It’s good but I like the last two games better. I do appreciate that they tried new things here. It definitely feels like DOOM in a fantasy setting even though there’s still stuff like mechs and spaceships.

Started DOOM: The Dark Ages. It’s slower paced than Eternal but still fast. You’re not Goku anymore but having a “chainsaw shield” and being able to parry attacks makes a huge difference. The game is medieval themed but still futuristic. It’s great so far!

Beat Expedition 33! A phenomenal RPG and my current GOTY. The story, characters, world, music, battles with incredible boss fights, all amazing! I’m definitely going to play more because there’s a lot of endgame stuff I want to do but I 100% recommend this one.

People are saying this is one of the best RPGs and I started to feel major FOMO so I decided to get Expedition 33. It’s great! It’s a turn-based RPG inspired by Final Fantasy & Persona but it has an action twist. The story, acting, and music are all fantastic. Excited for more!

Started the Oblivion remaster. The only Elder Scrolls game I’ve played is Skyrim but I’m enjoying it so far. It definitely feels more like a “remake” than a remaster. Visually, it looks fantastic. It feels good to play and still retains the vibe that the OG had.

Beat Monster Hunter Wilds! I took my time with this one. I didn’t find the story that interesting but taking down giant monsters with other players was really fun and satisfying. I also liked crafting all the cool armor after the hunts.

Beat Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza! I loved it! I enjoyed the main story but it’s one of those games where I was way more into the side quests. I loved growing my crew, upgrading my ship/ranking, and going on island raids. Genuinely one of the best pirate games I’ve played.

Started Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. It’s a spinoff game but it’s definitely a follow-up to Infinite Wealth. It basically plays like Devil May Cry but with pirates. I’m enjoying it so far!

I decided to buy Balatro after hearing so many great things about it. It’s the real deal! It’s a Rogue-like Poker game. Every run has you assembling a deck and playing poker, but you unlock all of these special cards and abilities that make the matches more crazy. It’s fun!

I’m going to vote for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth as GOTY but I definitely think the actors that played James and Angela in Silent Hill 2 Remake deserve best performances.
