Tomorrow at 10:00 my first born son will be given an Honor Walk. He’ll be draped in the US flag & a flag to signify his Veteran Donor status. He’ll be flown to the donation center so others might live from our tragedy. Those flags will be on my mantle beside my Father’s.

DHS takes credit for crime being down in Chicago. Data shows that was happening before they arrived.
Immigration officials on Tuesday said a drop in crime numbers was thanks to their work. Police data show the decrease was taking place before federal agents arrived in the city.

My family escaped Ukraine from the pogroms and were lucky enough to escape to the US.
They took my family in — we had nothing and offered nothing, but a desire to get ahead and be free while being safe.
This is a country of immigrants, and we should be honoring that history.
