I dove into LF a couple of years ago when I purchased a Shen Hao 4x5. I love it! It’s definitely more of a challenge than any digital camera. Finding compositions is akin to composing for plein air painting.

The holders are from a 4x5 dip and dunk development tank. Although, I use a Stearman Press 445 tank for developing but I found the holders are great for drying negatives.

Thanks to @TadTadd on YouTube, I learned why I’m getting blank frames with my Mamiya 330.

In my small darkroom I use an under the bed storage container as a way to protect against spillage and drips. The dimensions are around 29”Lx15”Wx7”H. All 3 - 8x10 trays fit perfectly. The wash tray sits on an adjacent countertop.

Since I already have a Zenza Bronica S 6x6 and the Mamiya 330, I’m more interested in either the 6x4.5 or 6x9.

Your blog post has me intrigued. I’ve been looking for a medium format camera that’s relatively low profile. Where is the best place to purchase a good folding cam? I visited NatCam today, and didn’t see any good options. What they currently offer seems pre-1940s, mostly Kodak.

That’s the Oval Office right there.

2/2 When I go out to shoot with the 4x5 or TLR, I sometimes drive around, looking for inspiration for an evening without exposing a frame. I've likened it to a fishing expedition. Sometimes you don't get a nibble. Other times you hit your limit.

Thanks for the blog post, Tom. I feel that over the past 10 years I've been fine tuning the style that I have for my portrait clients, and I'm happy with the latest results. When it comes to personal photos (a.k.a. what I want to print or hang on my wall) I feel ungrounded. 1/2

It's just a personal feeling, but I'm not convinced America did actually vote for this. I think Elon was up to some fuckery with voting machines. Unfortunately, we probably won't see an investigation providing proof any time soon, since they're replacing everyone in the FBI/DOJ with loyalists.
