Yeah no doubt, the better the players around you the more likely you are to do better than before. It looked like we’d already waved the surrender flag by signing loads of players from the championship. We were obligated to buy THB & AR so a chunk of our budget was already gone.

In his defence, #SaintsFC squad was poor. We basically bought a load of championship players and expected them to compete. Added to the way RM wanted to play. We never deviated from his style, which retrospectively was incredible naive.

However, if he does return it will jeopardise my authority at the club and undermine me as a manager so he will not be coming back ever again.

I liked him but he never really got a run of games. I also think we had a bit of an issue that he was signed by Nathan Jones.

I think your right about Labour, they should’ve had a pro Euro manifesto . In some respects they do, saying we want to move closer to the EU is kind or testing the waters. Reform polling high means that instead of doubling down on their agenda they’ve started to ape Reforms policies. Bad idea imo

The first two points I’ll give you but the last one is debatable. Your last point really takes the biscuit because although very young, I’ll doubt he’ll be mentioned with such luminaries or his contemporary who the equivalent of these great managers in 30 years time. I’d rather have Big Sam.

Fuck me Tony Blair, it was decent but he got us to the Prem and it was do do. So in that case, no, he was also extremely stubborn and not a great tactician when other managers changed their formations.

You should never go back. Can’t see RM coming to us anyway. He played for Norwich so he should go there if there’s a vacancy. RH became quite predictable and although initially effective everyone knew how to play against us because his high line was nuts. So it’s a no from me.

If he’s not good enough, which I agree with you on, it kind of is his fault because he’s not good enough. Bring on Big Sam. Should’ve really paid the money for Rohl.

Getting caught up in the media attention given to your club and swallowing the praise given all leads to going berserk in the transfer window, buying players to show you’ve got money, paying them too much and then changing managers. Another financial cost. Damaging your club and players confidence

As a #SaintsFC fan I can see the parallels between what we did wrong and what you’ve done wrong and can see you unfortunately going down this season. I think we both started believing our own hype. And with that chaos ensued. Selling too many players, too soon, buying inadequate replacements.
