Democrats were winning the shutdown in the court of public opinion. And then out of fucking nowhere, establishment Democrats betrayed their constituents by caving. You've shown your loyalty to lobbyists over we the people. Get the hell out of Washington, Chuck.

I just finished putting together an "earthbending" deck, and then they come out with an actual earthbending mechanic and don't even put it in UW for me. Smdh.

"Finding ways to make cards exceed their normal use case" perfectly encapsulates what I want in commander. And it's just fundamentally impossible with cards that are designed for commander.

I've turned away from precons in recent years for that reason, instead building my own decks from scratch, usually with commanders that are older, less linear, and less "does everything for you."

I don't want the puzzle to be solved for me. Modern precons are so tight and synergistic right out of the box that I don't need to design anything. I can always upgrade a few cards, but even that doesn't usually feel unique or expressive when there are "upgrade guides" everywhere.

The precons from that era were starting points for what could become any number of different decks. They had lots of themes jammed together, so you picked what you liked, and designed the rest of that deck yourself, dumping half of the precon in the process. And I loved that process.

If the R's really wants people to have more children, the solution is pretty simple and well studied: Make housing more affordable. Then again, that's not actually their priority, it's just another empty talking point.

Yeah I preordered it. Planning on picking it up on the way home from work on Thursday. Not sure how i feel about content being locked behind online play and dlc, but the core gameplay looks fun.

Sennheiser Game ONE here. It's comfortable and has great sound quality. Mic auto-mutes when you push the boom up to your ear, and there's a volume wheel on the other ear.

Do you think Heroes in a Half Shell could/should have been 4c?

Recording SAWLM for The Dark, I see... Agreed though; this design feels very red blue.

I'm all for investing now to save money in the long run, but I'm curious about the cost-benefit analysis I'm sure was done but is absent from the linked article. How many years of reduced energy bills until the savings break even with the investment?

Also, which schools/districts does this affect?

I'm not even the only one on this thread who took Mirko and modified the precon to a clones theme. I also have some blink/enters shenanigans.
