14 years ago this day, my water broke 6 weeks early & I gave birth alone to my son. His father missed his birth in USA to spend the visa $ instead. I had to get up after giving birth, leave my son in NIcU to go work bc I knew after Xmas would be slow. I was going to do it all alone. And I DID it.
