I can't believe my luck. A Tantalus came through the used case of my LGS and I got it for a quarter of the new price. It's in ROUGH shape, but I think I can give it the TLC it deserves. Time to get a gallon of Simple Green.

Spent the evening building Talos #2 and I think it is my favorite 40k kit I've built. The design is just so unique and detailed. It has so many alternate bits to make each model unique from anther in your army or use the bits for kitbashing.

I'm helping my BIL learn the modeling hobby. He saw this Nid in the LGS' used model case for $15 and liked it as a cool piece to paint. It came on a plain 3D printed disc and I said "no we can do much better". So I popped it off and started cutting cork. Love the result.

It is insane how much allowing people to get on Medicare at 55 would do for the insurance industry, even setting the Public Option aside.
It would put over half of the expenditures in healthcare onto the same pool and would absolutely decimate the cost for people on Private Insurances.

This is my "good not great" painted buggy. One day I'll get all the details done but it looks good at 10 feet. The Turbo Dork does a great job for a quick airbrush coat.

I played 1500 points last night and dropped into a Crusade that some guys from an LGS were doing. I held my own for it being my first Drukhari game and the mission rule being -1 to hit rolls (this makes Dark Lances pretty bad).
