Started up Tales of Rebirth as my next tales game. The combat system is interesting with the force cube and RG/FG systems, compared to how straightforward destiny DC was. Got up the steel factory and started getting KO'd crazy style so I gotta figure out how to engage with it better

Played through Tales of Phantasia. Had no idea it was by the team that went on to do Star Ocean. Simple but solid gameplay, and the story was pretty good! It's sparked an interest in playing through the tales games sequentially now since it's a series i never got into

Replayed a childhood staple and properly beat it. Awesome game, def an all timer. Fun writing, characters, and dialogue, simple gameplay but engaging! The controls are definitely of the time but easy to grasp. Only real complaint was sound design felt a little iffy in spots, but not like bad.

Played through and beat Shadow of the colossus over the last week. One of the most enjoyable games I've ever played. Beautifully crafted with an awesome soundtrack and sound direction. It's short and poignant in a really enjoyable way, easily a top game of all time

Completed my first time playthrough of Ico for the PS2. Easy top 10 game. Immaculate vibes, music, sound direction. The simple gameplay loop was refined to a really engaging degree and there were so many moments that added some real soul to what is presented to the player. Wonderful game all around

Watched strange harvest in theater. Pretty good 6.5/10 for me. I enjoyed the presentation and the way they retold what had happened was engaging. Did not realize it was the grave encounters guy til I looked it up afterwords

Watched War of the Worlds 2025. Incredible movie(?). I was a little in awe at what I was seeing and hearing. Actively sweaty by the time the movie ended. 5/5 would recommend for a group watch

Recently replayed and beat FF12 for the PS2. Incredibly solid game, absolutely undeserving of the hate it got at the time. I definitely did not get far into the game when I first played it as the slight nuance of "farming LP to fill out the good board pieces" eluded me when I was younger, lol.
