My school days in the UK were the 90s and early 2000s, but in that time we learned on BBC Micro, various Acorns, old Macs, and just occasionally Windows PCs (Encarta 95 was mind blowing!) There wasn't just one kind of computer and I think that helped. Even without coding, there was still 'tinkering'

Not an expert, but happily used a Beko one for almost 4 years. Drying times are good, and never had serious problems. Only two issues, 1) The evaporator filter is difficult to clean as it can't be completely removed. This can lead to smelly clothes. 2) It's kinda noisy to use overnight. Pob lwc!

As a (proud?) owner myself, I’d say it’s a really fun curio and the 3D is actually pretty good. But it’s probably more fun appreciating it on a shelf than risking the neck pain.

Over here in Cardiff, Wales, we have the wonderful ‘Super Tomato’. A small, but densely packed gem, with a lovely, helpful owner and a vast collection. Visits usually include spotting a personal holy grail or two. ‘Is that a Panasonic Q?!?!?’ @hausofsega.bsky.social
