Deeply depressing (but sadly not surprising) local elections results. Grim that the government will use this as an excuse to move further to the right.

You might be able to separate art from artist, but you can’t separate the IP from the copyright holder.

Next week my play Murder on the Dancefloor is coming to Arena Theatre, Wolverhampton. The play has been co-created with the young people of Wolverhampton Grand Arena Youth Theatre. I had so much fun writing this with the incredibly talented young company. wlv.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/...

Adolescence is incredible television there is and will be a lot of talk about it in response to online radicalisation/Tate, but it’s about so much more than this current moment.

It’s about the failure of men to talk, share their emotions and challenge toxic and violent masculinity.

Cheeseboard question when you order a cheeseboard at restaurant why is there never enough crackers/bread? Why is the ratio always off? Surely that’s the cheap part? Is it a scam to get me to pay extra for more crackers/bread, am eating cheese wrong or is something else
going on?

Perhaps if you’re the parent of a SEN child and you have public platform and a national newspaper interviews you, maybe use that to advocate for better support for all SEN children rather than complain about having to pay VAT on your private school bill.

Writing is a process some days you are crafting witty lines of dialogue, imagining new worlds, searching into the hearts of characters and spinning yarns, on others you’re at the fridge eat grated cheese straight from the bag…it’s all part of a process.

@graeaetheatre.bsky.social New Writing Festival today was marvellous! Lovely Deaf, disabled and ND creatives and allies coming together sharing stories. It’s tough in the world of theatre right now but I left with a feeling of hope. Gutted I can’t be there tomorrow!
