During times of high stress, we have a tendency to do what therapists call “decompensate,” which is psychobabble for give up newer or more complex skill sets
We tend to regress to ideas and schemas that we held onto when we felt safer
Remember that they aren’t better; they’re just more comfortable

Be firm about your choices right now. Don't go backwards to habits and situations that weren't helping you grow and heal. You have to keep reminding yourself why you even decided to move forward. Stay positive about what’s to come by being consistent with your life changes now. 🖤
