Don't let anyone but you tell you what difficulty to play. There's like 10 difficulties and I play only 6 or 7 solo usually but always require playing on 4 or5 for a bit to get back into things after taking a long break. Occasionally do 1 for finishing up dailies if needed

Not trying to glaze either DRG or helldiving into getting you to play. I feel this kind of "yeah I'll just tap into it a bit regularly every day or every so often" fits better than the play it for 50 straight hours mentality so if that fits you then it's good

My friend feels that too for "being too far behind" in a sense. I just like playing the game a bit every day and the little progression things are just nice bonuses to try to unlock stuff for after a mission set. For helldivers not every warbond is worth it anyway gun-wise so can pick-and-choose

It's fine, especially since you haven't played much of it really. It still has a bit of an identity problem once you really play a ton, but as you're starting out and progressing with all of the buffs they provided in general it's been fun IMO. Randos are mostly capable

I remember there still being a few hoops to jump through to catch up and be ready for 3 if you only played 1 + 2 or none at all. The bundles, at the time before the all-in-one, were incomplete unless you got both of them (1.5 + 2.5 and the 2.8 remixes) and one of them is still a weird card game
