Thursday: the pause on the staircase. Breathe, smile, then climb on. 🌸

Midweek message. If the wind is contrary, adjust your hat, not your hope. 🌸

Tuesday. The inbox and I are locked in mortal combat. I send one email; three appear in its place. Truly, a Hydra in Outlook form.

Plant your feet, stare it in the eye, and remember: it’s only Monday, not the Siege of Troy.🌸

Mrs Emerson’s away this weekend. I promised calm and order - that was until Julie Andrews and her mates popped round. 😉

It’s Friday! Put down your paperwork and pick up your dancing shoes. 🪩

Let today be a small rebellion against hurry. Walk a little slower, notice a leaf, hum something Italian. 🇮🇹

Be you bewitched, bedazzled, or merely in carpet slippers — may your Friday be full of grace and gentle mischief. 🎃

Off to the library today. I seek enlightenment, but will settle for a quiet corner, a comfy chair and the smell of old parchment. 📚

Tuesday is Monday with its collar unbuttoned and its tea brewed properly. 🫖

It’s Monday. More importantly, it’s the holidays. No lessons, no meetings — only a requirement to twirl. 💃🏻

Yesterday’s return from Cornwall featured scenery, tea in paper cups, and an attempted bodyboard heist from the luggage carriage. Mrs Emerson sprang into action, relieved the culprit of his new ‘acquisition’, and restored our belongings without spilling her tea. A remarkable woman. ❤️
