@polykillpodcast.bsky.social #justbeatit Jenny LeClue Detectivu (switch 2) this puzzle adventure game starts slow but really picks up momentum. The end leaves a lot to be desired but was an enjoyable 10 hours. 7/10

@polykillpodcast.bsky.social #justbeatit Zombies Ate My Neighbors (steam deck) Not a great completion experience, crazy difficulty by way of bad design. I didn’t even kill the final boss, the last neighbor got killed off screen and the exit door appeared but I got credits anyway lol.

Evoland (steam) action adventure game with rpg elements. The gimmick is that treasure chests unlock game elements like 3d graphics, sound effects and NPCs. The sequel is one of my favorite indies of all time, this one is just ok. Go play Evoland 2 its great

@polykillpodcast.bsky.social #justbeatit Crash Bandicoot (N Sane, Steam Deck) only played demos of the original. A fresh coat of paint from this remaster was good but I prefer Spyro tbh. Never fully commits to a 3d perspective instead you get this weird in between and the platforming feels a bit off

Iconoclasts (switch 2) nice mix of combat and puzzles, awesome pixel art. The story is a bit convoluted but lands decently. There are lots of collectibles to go after but no real motivation to because the system that uses them has very minimal impact. 7.5/10
