How are US Bond auctions still under 5%? Do people still trust the US? POTUS has even that some bonds might be nullified- yet people are still buying and holding US bonds?

The US has been consistently demonstrating its unreliability for years. Time after time treaties are ignored or neutered by unilateral interpretation. The US has always been a bad faith actor. The western world ignored it because they had always been on the same side. Now they suddenly are not.

Any nation should immediately start distancing themselves from US tech.

Don't let them sell you the instruments of espionage or products that require subscriptions to fix.

Nobody should trust the US: not for citizen services; not as a treaty partner; not as a contractual obligor; not as a trustee for your gold or money. They will interpret their way out of any obligation and hide behind sovereign immunity at the first sign of trouble.
