Mistake me if I'm wrong, but the restrictive regulations cited do not seem to relate to environmental policy. Parking mandates and single home lots seem quite the opposite of that.

I agree with many of the main points but I think it's a distraction from the actual problem of corporate lobbyist who manipulate these systems in their own favor. I'm all for sensible regulation that isn't going to result in just more luxury buildings nobody can afford.
