Team for Wednesday will be interesting. Jones and Núñez in from the start you'd expect. A bit frustrating that it's Newcastle away because in an ideal world you'd play Elliott from the start to give MacA a rest - Newcastle the wrong game for it though.

Ousmane Dembele leads all players in Europe's major leagues in carries into the penalty area with 3.8 per90. Yesterday Ben Doak had 8, to take his season average to ~6.5.
Oh and 2 assists and 1.3 xG+xA.
Could be the best player in the Championship having just turned 19. Not bad at all.

He's obviously great but Bellingham plays like a 31 year old in terms of his running power. Not sure if it's just because he's played a lot of football and needs a sustained break or if he is strutting around thinking he's a Galactico that's above grafting.

Nyoni is talented but dwells on the ball too often - reminiscent of Pogba. Needs to be more of a defensive presence too.
Esdaille (16) at right back looks promising.
Ngumoha clearly special.
Morrison with some nice touches, Curtis-esque.

Some thoughts from Liverpool v Real in the youth league.

I would ideally like Salah to stay on a 2 year deal but it's not the no brainer some people are trying to make it out to be.
A new contract for Salah is about what he will produce from now not what he has produced.

There's a conversation to be had around Darwin but it's different to the one of last season. Last season he was getting plenty of shots, this season the shots have dropped way off. I think it begs a bigger question around how the 9 works in this system long term, whether Darwin, Jota or someone else
