Actually no.
If there was a President Harris right now, would ACA subsidies be cut or SNAP payments shut off?
No.
Voting third party only HURTS the party that they are closest to.
The problem is the GOP and they have to be voted OUT. Only voting FOR the Dems can do that.

Not to mention this nation is stuck with 2 parties under our electoral system, something most people don't know.

And the problem is that-
- the GOP is in the majority
- and they are the ones responsible for this.
Getting the ACA subsidies back in was a "maybe", not a sure thing. Because of- wait for it- the GOP.
Get the blame in the right direction.

Again, the people who say that and think like that are swing voters.
Not ALL swing voters are like that.
Got it? 🙄

Nope! That talking point is done after 2025.
My challenge to you- under a president Harris we would not be holding back SNAP funds or allowing ICE to run riot in the streets. Wouldn't be happening. Please tell the people suffering from that how there is "no difference" between both parties.

Oh stop. While you wait for magic funding from only the purest sources, we need to get a majority in both chambers.
That doesn't mean doing anything and everything for the money.
It also means having to take some "corporate money" because there's not enough non-corporate $. Sorry to say.

The problem clearly also rests with the people that chose to vote for the GOP and then cry when their policies hurt them.

The choice is between the GOP (unacceptable) and the Dems. It's not that the entirety of the Dems are "progressive." It's that they are more so than the other guys. (Yes, what's that saying)
I'd take the worst day of a Harris administration over any of this, and any Democrat would as well.

Wrong!
We don't get fascism without the support of the most powerful people and groups.
The oligarchs support MAGA and shield Trump. The Dems don't support fascism. What happens is that a FEW of them are bought off when their votes are needed. See Manchin/Sinema.

They knew it- no mystery there.
BUT those 7 Senators felt more pressure from business lobbyists (IMHO) than voters who don't want their ACA premiums to rise. It doesn't help that the GOP doesn't give a rat's ass about anyone & yet people still vote for them. 🙄

You're missing one key part- the Establishment doesn't like incompetent governance and having the federal government run like the Mafia against them.
That is the key to Trump/MAGA's downfall, along with ruining the economy.

Nope! We don't have a "part fascist party."
The oligarchs are against democracy and for fascism- duh!
Corporate & business interests rather "deal" with the likes of Trump than progressives who will reduce their wealth and raise their taxes. They are enabling the fascism. NOT the Dems.

If you cynically think it was all "planned" that they would do the same exact thing, just until after the elections, you're wrong.
The polling supporting the Dems helped keep the Dem Senators in line.
The GOP's damage to everyone at this point & the pressure from Big Money moved them last night.

False.
First, you don't project their victories and our defeats. That's doing their work for them, not being a "realist."
This was not "planned all along"- I guess you missed the part where the 7 Senators wanted to give in 2 weeks ago but were kept from it.
Guess what? Money is hard to beat

Nope! You don't play THEIR game.
We can keep up with it if we do it right.
Whatever they do screws everyone over except the oligarchs, white/Christian nationalists, and corporate/business entities that pay their bribes.
The details are secondary to that.

Yes, they did.
"Right now" doesn't count- you're doomcasting and it's a bad look.
Who voted to have ACA premiums raise? The GOP.
Who voted against them raising and held out for 40 days to bring them down? The Dems.
Who always voted to keep them up? The GOP.
You're welcome.

3/ But it doesn't happen overnight.
And it just doesn't happen when the oligarchs get richer thanks to right wing economic policies while everyone else gets poorer.
That's the Big Picture and if you've been against the right wing this long you should see it.

That's the rigged game we're all in, and since there are only 2 parties, and one has gone fascist, then everything has to go to the Democratic party DESPITE how some of them act.
Since 2016 there has been a push to make the Democrats more Democratic and it's been working.

A bunch of them ARE going. The past year a bunch of the older guard have announced they aren't running for office anymore.
All the wealth you speak of is directed at the Dems to NOT be what Democratic voters vote for.
Wealth for progressive policies? Nope!

You're throwing around too much.
Johnson is feeling some pressure now, just as GOP Senators were. He will re-open it.
Trump is being aided by 6 hacks on the SCOTUS, unlike any other prez, so you have the oligarchs to blame for that.

So you guys just don't know what you're talking about.
The Dems won the war of public opinion on the shutdown- fact. That comes from actually holding out while the GOP did nothing.
After the elections, the GOP actually did something (hardly). 7 Dem Senators felt the pressure, not the entire party
