Exciting day at MRDC. Not only did we have Stedman Club at lunchtime but this evening we had a practice and in the first 30 mins we’d rung Deva, Bristol & Spliced Stedman/Bristol. Plus the management committee met so we’ve more exciting plans for future projects.

It was a busy session. The Plain Bob beforehand seemed to whizz by in a blur. The most singles I’ve rung before a sandwich AND THEN found myself in charge on the big scary bells for the memorial service so I made them ring Stedman on the big uns. Tobes was in his element.
Super lunchtime ring at @mrdc1715.bsky.social all the stuff I don’t normally ring but had looked up (Kent and Oxford TB Major) went swimmingly well - everything I already know and ring (Cambridge and London Surprise Minor) bombed 🤷♀️ - must be one of ringing’s unwritten rules!

Radio Norfolk have been in MRDC as part of their ‘Try January’

Stedman Club today. Some excellent plain courses, Qs and some doubles. A whole hour of Stedman, it just can’t get better. Tomorrow it’s solo practice on the simulator, get extra time on the rope with no nagging.

It’s Wednesday which means Young Ringers followed by the Students. Huge fun and everything seems to happen so much faster.
