I just started playing it, and I shelved it after the first two levels.
It just feels off. The combat feels slow, the lack of glorly kills is just weird, Mick Gordon is sorely missed, and the throwing shield just makes me wish I still had the flamethrower from Eternal.

Crazy enough, you should look into EVO in Las Vegas. The main focus is on fighting games and the tournament, but the artist alley is absolutely stacked at that event. You don't need to have fanart from fighting games to do well at that con.

Fun fact: Those are EVERYWHERE around the Puget Sound. You could be digging up normal clams, and then BOOM! 10-12 inches of clam meat.

It's not like I mind dialog in a Metroid Prime game either. Prime 3 had plenty of people with voices, and it worked. I just don't want someone doing their best impression of Star Lord yapping in my ear all game.

For the love of God: I do not want a Fi in my Metroid game... I need that moody atmosphere that Prime games are known for, and a quip-machine like that is... I don't want to think about that.

Huh. So outdoor hockey rinks in Canada are as common as outdoor baseball fields or park basketball hoops in America. That could explain why hockey is such a huge sport up there, among other reasons.
That comparison is not researched; I'm assuming that's how it is. Sounds about right, though.
