Apparently Bluesky Social is a kinder version of Twitter. That’s a very low bar but I’m willing to give it a go.
I stopped using Twitter a few months ago but finally deactivated my account today. Elon Musk giving a Nazi salute was a bit much, even by his very low standards.

Well played West Ham. Disciplined and clinical. We had plenty of good possession but we were sloppy and I can’t remember us testing Fabianski. A very frustrating evening.

I finally deactivated my Twitter account. Most of the people I liked are already here so I don’t think I’ll miss it. I certainly won’t miss the rampant racism, hatred, misogyny, ignorance, stupidity and gullibility.

Big day today, as the mighty Folkestone Invicta host the London Geordies Hanwell Town in the FA Trophy. I’ve been following the fortunes of HT for a couple of years, since discovering they represent a little chunk of Newcastle in west London. Looking forward to seeing them in the flesh as it were.
