Rarely on the socials these days, but had to come celebrate that one of my Mount Rushmore jams turns 25 today. The LP on LP release of this one was illuminating. @robmitchum.bsky.social with an ever-eloquent take as always. I agree that modern Phish has deep roots growing from this jam. Must-hear.
The Radio City Ghost could have been the kind of statement jam that propelled the band for an entire year. But due to circumstances, it took a decade or more to pay off:

Rarely on the socials these days, but had to come celebrate that one of my Mount Rushmore jams turns 25 today. The LP on LP release of this one was illuminating. @robmitchum.bsky.social with an ever-eloquent take as always. I agree that modern Phish has deep roots growing from this jam. Must-hear.

Such an infectious ear worm from Trey here. The band slowly builds from here to a completely lovely peak. There are objectively better jams out there, but this jam is one of the most “for me” jams ever for sure. 9/6/15 DWD

In Dec ‘99, Phish prepped for their NYE marathon as much as they could during regular-length sets. 12/7/99 showed one way they could go the distance.
