Depends how long you class as forever? Mine is a couple of years old and takes ~2hrs for a 9-10kg load. Only uses 0.5-0.75kWh per load though, and is gentler on clothes than older vented ones.

Yeah I still love driving, would happily hop in my Model 3 and drive for a day if I had the time to do so. Did a family trip from N. Wales to Tilburg for a couple of weeks via various places in the summer and I could have honestly just kept driving for a month around Europe if allowed, loved it!

Heat pump dryers use even less energy and don't release all the moisture into the house 🤷‍♂️
