Phoebe is healing after her surgery. Unfortunately the surgeon was not able to repair the broken bone due to a botched surgery prior to us adopting her, combined with the additional fractures in her femur. Amputation was the only option. She is a trooper though and already up and moving around!

Phoebe has surgery today to get her broken leg fixed. Hoping that the surgeon can stabilize the leg and there are not too many fractures. Worst case scenario is she has to have it amputated 🥲
