In light of all the other silliness going on around us today: On my afternoon middle school bus drive home: 8th grade boy: “Mr Dave, do my lips look glossy?” Me: “A little.” 8th grade boy to his seat mate: “Darn I kissed my girlfriend when I got on the bus. How do I get it off?” 😂

School Bus Humor for today: 4th grader shows me a blank folded piece of paper. “Hey, Mr Bus Driver, can you tell me what word I have printed inside this piece of paper?”. Me:”No”. 4th grader,”Gosh are you smart!” Showing me the printed word “No” on the inside of the paper! Got me!😂

Upon retirement I became a school bus driver. As thankless as it might seem, days like today keep life in perspective. 4th grade girl approaches “Mr Dave’ someone put a booger on my seat”! Me, I’ll take care of it right away”! 4th grader, “I knew I could count on you. You’re the best”!
