The mechanic of my top board game design project involves using 6 of 8 symbols to form a card. With no limiting factors that gives about 20 thousand potential card designs, so trying to narrow that down to 72 or 54 has been a fun challenge for me. There is also rotational symmetry to consider.

I know I'm a better person than I used to be, and one of the strongest indicators of that for me is the amazing relationship between my daughter and the mother of my son. The two of them had a girl date while we were visiting Vancouver, and I'm looking forward to them having many more.

First prototype for a puzzle for my son that reveals an exciting message. 6 wheels each have 5 characters that need to be aligned for the reveal. Two of the wheels have only symmetrical characters on them, so their orientation is twice as hard to discover.
