Can’t talk about the work I did today. But I can say I met the most enchanting young scientist. Her mind is incredible and she is doing some groundbreaking work. Hope I get to work with her again.

A few people have mentioned how negative and pessimistic I have been online of late. As normal, they are people who can’t conceive that my life away from here is less than ideal right now, I have zero support and i just don’t have the mental energy to play nice or deal with everyone else’s problems.

Random observation. Sexual discrimination against #Disabled people, particularly the #Blind , is really annoying. And I’m not talking about work-related issues. I am actually talking about sexual intimacy. Just cause I’m blind, doesn’t mean I’m some kind of sexless blob.

Finally took the plunge and upgraded my phone to iOS18 now that all the #Accessibility bugs have been worked out. Looks pretty good. Like the customisation features on voiceover. But, still can’t find a better sounding voice than Ava Enhanced. Premium just clicks too much for me.

Those first few episodes of #Daredevil that deal with Fisk And Vanessa’s budding relationship are just so beautifully written and acted. I see a lot of myself in Wilson in the way he is so nervous and unsure of how to handle himself as a larger-than-life guy who just wants someone to love him.

Our whole community is always grieving, and right now is especially hard.
