I can appreciate this. My mum used to massacre eggs when I was a kid. She'd fry them way too hot and the bottom of the egg ended up hard with the worst taste ever. If all you'd ever experienced was one of my mum's eggs, I'm sorry it took this long for you to try an alternative serving. Embrace it.
