So fantastic when we get support from other tree campaigns. We've just had a message of support from @treesforbermondsey.bsky.social while we fight on to save Old King George, a beautiful 170 year old oak, as a nearby householder agrees

Wow. Since Monday, the campaign to stop 'Old King George,' our 170 year old oak tree in Wivenhoe from being chopped down, has now raised over £5,500. We need another £4.5k Please take a look and give if you can www.crowdjustice.com/case/save-wivenhoe-old-king-george-tree

I'm hoping a few of your followers might support our campaign to protect a 170 year old oak tree in Wivenhoe. We have launched a crowdjustice fundraiser to be able to challenge Aviva and the Town Council from felling a beloved tree, known affectionately as Old King George.

Some end of year work at the allotment today. Mulched my asparagus trench and wrapped my two vine plants in some fetching fleece,making them the best dressed plants in my lot

Three hours at the allotment. Added another little water butt, planted six rows of winter red onions and hacked backed some trees overhanging the fence at the back. Watered the green manure which is sprouting well
