Alternatively though, you *could* in this example just check if target isn’t blank instead of checking a few values. That kinda depends on data fetching and if there’s a chance someone puts an invalid target value in the component though.

Yeah in that case, that is a good use case! Though for ADA reasons, I would suggest links always having a target, even if it’s just set to _self
