In S07E17 of Gilmore Girls, Richard is wearing a tracksuit. Lorelai makes a joke about it by implicating a lunch date with Tony Soprano. • Ask if they realize this means that both the Sopranos and Gilmore Girls exist as television shows in the other's universe. When the Gilmore Girls watch the Sopranos, they will see themselves. When Tony Soprano watches Gilmore Girls, he sees himself and his family. • Like two facing mirrors; Gilmore Girls and Sopranos, a recursion, fractal, etc.

I think I may have logged off of Twitter for the last time. This PhD discourse has really worried me. Ok, Twitter, not real life - but it quite often carries over, and seeing academia being attacked in the states, vitriolically, has me increasingly concerned about the state of affairs in the West.
