Yeah it’s context dependent. I just don’t have enough to feed the agent with new stuff I am working on, because its novel and doesn’t fit a trained pattern.

If I have to write it all out anyway for the agent to understand I might as well write the code.

I think different contexts can’t be replaced by agents. My job is working on applied numerical algos, sometimes novel stuff, and I have found agents just choke. Not enough context.

If what you are doing is just reapplied patterns and well known frameworks, yeah you might be toast.

This assumes the code base is not so messed up to the point that the tab completions are always garbage.

Recent Metroid is by western studios. I think the western PS stack like Santa Monica, Naughtydog, Insomniac, Sucker Punch still make great experiences.

I get it though, Silksong is just pure art. Indies free to make fresh experiences should be the future.
