And 1.) Terraria

The picture speaks for itself.
The gameplay is amazing, fantastic bosses, amazing in multiplayer, and a phenomenal modding scene. I have spent so much time in this game for a reason. Fun to fight things, fun to build, fun to do dumb challenges. Buy Terraria now, it is $10.

2.) Core Keeper

The youngest game here, it's essentially what happens if you cross Terraria (we'll get to you) and Stardew Valley. Very story light (has an intro cutscene and that's it), but amazing gameplay.

3.) Library of Ruina

I am a massive Project Moon Shill. One of the best written stories out there, even my least favorite character is objectively well written. Good gameplay as well, difficulty spike is in-fact vertical.

4.) Pokémon Black 2

One of the best Pokémon games, and also my first. Great adventure, great characters, and well designed Pokémon (object Pokémon are cool, based on Yokais.)

5.) Realm of the Mad God
Definitely a guilty pleasure game, have you ever wanted to play a MMO Bullet-Hell Looter with perma-death? No? Too bad. I love this game, and it objectively sucks. Play it if you want, I can both reccomend and not reccomend it.
