Yes and… what if they came up with a way so that the show was only available for like, half an hour on release day? Maybe after the season they can make it generally available. That would really make it a “gotta be there” moment. 🙃

Hey is it advisable to have all of your ships stowed when 4.1.1 drops? I have stuff spread out in my hangar, as one does… any issues with leaving it all there?

It’s a brutal time to be a young man right now bc it’s easy to be cynical and lose hope for the future. We look around and wonder when the grown-ups are going to fix this mess… and then realize we are the grown-ups. GenZ and GenA are having this reckoning now. But if anyone can fix it, they will.

The doors and the stupid elevator in the cargo bay that we all just don’t use because it’s faster to climb are the minimum of what I want to see fixed. I want “Data-RUNNER” to be less of a stretch of the imagination. I think the crawl space has been pointless, but maybe Engineering will change that.

Install on a SSD is mandatory. 32 GB RAM is minimum. The game is CPU bound 99% of the time, and the other 1% is also CPU.

Purple is a skin for the reclaimer, and I don’t think NPC ships are spawning with skins, so at least the reclaimer was player owned at one point.

It’s for sure those little moments that keep us from abandoning the project. I’m just hoping that one day I can get my less fault-tolerant friends to experience those moments with me. Maybe this is the year?

I can say that after many years, the Destiny 2 spell has been broken. It seems there have been other games released that are not Destiny 2. I am still adjusting to this reality.

Remember the letter from the chairman from like, 2 years ago where he said words to the effect of “our 3rd party database isn’t scaling as expected”? I imagine you’re right and this is where the new bottleneck is.

They have ~1100 people on staff, and I don’t think they are _all_ related to Chris Roberts, so I imagine some of them want a paycheck.
