Even if the Nobel committee did offer a trophy, they probably couldn't be bothered to commission the Walking Dead comic book people to design one as nice as this. Clowns.

Have an ego so big and a brain so small that a gesture so transparently insulting to your intelligence would have you gushing that it was one of the greatest honours of your life.

I had to work very hard to convince my Dad to put any of his money in a Vanguard Lifestrategy fund. But in the 80s he was very keen to buy British Gas shares. Difference = "Don't Tell Sid" campaign. Rather than changing ISA allowances, gov't should launch an ad/education campaign.

I see what you mean. The decimal separators are all wrong.

Brighton, UK. I'm grateful for your reporting and a huge admirer of the bravery and resistance of the Ukrainian people. Thank you for fighting on behalf of us all.

One of the few Democrats understanding and acting on the moment. Cory Booker for President!

I've been wondering... how would a casual user know that a domain really belongs to a certain person/organization? For example if Brad Pitt owns braddpitt.com and uses it for Bluesky, but I buy braddpitt.net and start posting as him, how's anyone supposed to know which is real?

If we want to fight cancer, shouldn't we be cracking down on smoking but encouraging vaping as an alternative, or at least as a quitting aid?

100%. I mostly avoid sherried Scotches myself. But somehow it works with Redbreast, maybe it's because Irish pot still is so unctuous to begin with that it all ends up in a big jammy Christmas pudding kind of thing.

Yeah, right on! Let's shoot some cops and storm the Capitol. Er, I mean, excuse me, would you mind awfully signing my wittle petition?

I tried the Nikka Coffey Grain and thought it was enjoyable and very unique. But it's pretty young and they used a Coffey still to hit the price point. OTOH Redbreast Lustau is aged 9-12 yrs in pricey barrels from a revered sherry producer. It would cost a pretty penny if it were Japanese.

No worries, I'm English and I love loads of styles of whisk(e)y. But do try some of the nicer Irish pure pot still, e.g Redbreast / Green Spot! My point b4 is it's great value compared to Japanese, which is now prohibitive: e.g Yoichi 12 a decade ago was around £50, now the 10 is £300.

That particular Redbreast is an outstanding example of its category, and there aren't many Scotches at that price point that can say that. As for Japanese, until stocks improve you'd have to spend three times that to match the quality. I agree about Duty Free though.
