I do agree that what the technology does is remarkable. I say this all the time, but the fact of its wonder and its actual utility in different contexts - particularly education, which is my focus - is very unclear. We can't let our marvel get in the way of critical consideration of its use.

The different ways the current administration is outright targeting students in different parts of the country right now is reprehensible.

(And in my view the coverage of it has not even come close to meeting the moment.)

Palestinian adults deserve to live. They deserve freedom, dignity, and liberation.

And as a teacher and a mom, knowing that 50,000 children have been killed or injured in Gaza, I lose faith in humanity and in this country.

50,000 futures
50,000 potentials
50,000 universes

It’s unconscionable.

Hi folks, just swinging by to share a quick reminder especially for our Arizona folks, FIGHT THE POWER.

The Supreme Court stepped out of the way for thousands of acres of Arizona's forests to be clear cut and destroyed for copper mining. Some of those lands are sacred ground to Native Americans. 🪶

I wanna see more classroom teachers delivering keynotes, facilitating workshops, and given space and larger platforms to talk about what’s working/not working with students in this moment.

Too many educator conferences, not nearly enough current teacher voices and experiences.
