One more thing I want to say is nothing but love, respect and admiration for Deidre. The raw emotions she put on display as Marlena grieving John while she also was also grieving her costar of 40 years was incredible. She deserves every accolade she’s received and then some.

It was a beautiful flashback of John decorating for Christmas for Carrie, Eric, and Sami. Even though he was grieving Marlena he still went all out to give his kids the best Christmas. Shows how truly amazing of a dad he truly is his kids mean the world to him. #Days #Jarlena

Today it was beautiful hearing Carrie speak to Marlena about John. She flashed back to when John told her of Marlena passing from the house explosion. From this moment on John and Carrie and such a beautiful father/daughter relationship. My absolute favorite. #Days #Jarlena
