David Lynch gave us the language we needed to better articulate the indescribable strangeness of our shared reality. “Lynchian” is so overused because it’s a viscerally understandable word without any known synonyms. I can’t imagine a more beautiful artistic legacy than that.

You can combine CMD + ⌥ to get the relative distance from the active element to any other, regardless of how deep it's nested within groups 3/3 🧵

This works on most other modern UI design tools (Sketch, Affinity tools, etc) and I've recently learned not all front end devs are aware of ✨

With an element selected, hold Option/Alt/⌥ key to see the relative distance to another layer, showing you margins or paddings 2/3 🧵
