I used to be like that tbh 4 years ago, it took me 2 years but I got off the programming rabbit hole and started creating my first game projects...
I wouldn't say it wasn't useful, but it was definitely overdoing it for what I was going for😅

I use both, but for this I'm using GDScript. Mostly because it's slightly faster to work with.
Later I may port it to C# when the other systems are done.
