Our power (and thankfully the heater) never went out. The water pipes seem fine. It wasn't that bad; I feel like I got stressed out for nothing. It's gonna get below freezing again tonight, but it won't be as bad as last night. (Knock on wood.)

We've thought about getting one before but didn't pull the trigger. A bit regretful if we actually do need it. It's honestly a solid investment for emergency situations. Hopefully it won't be that bad. Last winter storm was like 3-4 days without power; a whole week would be a nightmare.
