I have lots of opinions, most I won't bore you with. Politically I'm left of centre, and Starmer. more --> https://links.mr-omneo.co.uk

Food, street art, comfortable silences, music, k-dramas, comedy, and sleeping are a few of the things that please me
Received a 'survey' from Farage's Reform Party. Started to fill it in, telling them what I thought of them but recycled it and have instead posted back a selection of pizza menus and the local Green Party newsletter. It is over 100g so hopefully they have to pay a surcharge on top. Cunts.

I have to be up early to catch a train at 07:13, so of course I'm still awake, but off to bed now, with the best sleepscape mix, courtesy of @vonrunte.bsky.social

I bought a Brita jug 6 years ago, every few years the battery in the memo timer that tells you when to replace the filter dies. I log in to my Brita account and request a new one and it arrives in about a week, free of charge. It's little things that keep you (me) loyal.

Curious to know why skull bookends make good gifts for women and not men.

As it happens I'm buying a set to cater for my @helleborezine.bsky.social collection, which has outgrown the bedroom shelf.

I don't really do toast, but if I had room I'd have that toaster! It could sit next to my giant lucky cabbage

Have to say, I'm liking the new Sprints album, All That Is Over, a lot. Not quite as frantic as previous, but when you're my age you can't be jumping around too much. Yet another pink vinyl record added to the collection, I think it's now overtaken my red vinyl collection.

Stasi Starmer and his cohorts need to get the boot.

New vinyl record day, which made it through customs without getting slapped with VAT and a stupidly high 'handling' fee.

Mildly disappointed at the PVC cover, but why wouldn't I go for the zeotrope version of Margo Price's Hard Headed Woman?

Looking at Amazon for reviews on headphones and stumbled across this multi-buy. Who out there is thinking, "You know what I need? headphones and disposible gloves"

Is a "triple-XXX version" really a XXXXXXXXX version? Does one have to verify one's age in order to buy it??

While the government shouts about pledging £8.5m towards Palestine through the UN’s OCHA Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) Humanitarian Fund, they do temper expectations in the small print.

Let's see how much of that pledged money actually gets spent...

On one hand they store and process your data in the UK, on the other they send it to the US to deliver functionality.

Rarely do you see articles which state who broke the ceasefire. If you ask most people, they'll say Hamas because that's what genocide enablers want you to believe.

Interested (okay, mildly interested) to know why ASOS went with 'global sporting event' instead of 'olympic games' in the description.

It might just be me, but Rough Trade aren't convincing me that the £3 more expensive shipping option will get me my record any faster

Sad to discover 12ft.io has been taken offline.

Gotta laugh at Coffey's claim that 'significant resources' are committed by publishers. Have they read the dross they put behind paywalls??

I need a new hobby that isn't reading reviews of grocery products. Is an online store not a store?

I know we're tired of recipes which come with a back story of no relevance, but I think Ocado have taken minimalism too far. While it states cooking time is 25 minutes, the method only tells you to cook the fish for 10 minutes, at whatever temperature you feel like.

AI is wonderful, AI does the work for you. AI doesn't know how time works.

I see addresses like this and wonder if they exist.

Would a letter get returned to sender?

Who knows, I'm not wasting a stamp to find out, yet my curiosity remains.

What I love about this review is how they gave it 5 stars, then say they haven't yet worn it and considered returning it.

I'm not sure I trust LFM. Probably didn't return so they'd not lose loyalty points.

(I'm probably going to buy the shirt if, I can decide which variation to go for)

Very interested to know which pubs in London are out there heating up ramekins of mustard to go with a sausage roll.
