Ah. The United States where free speech is all.

No. No that free speech.

Yet my Prime Minister, who used to be a respected human rights lawyer, pretends not to recognise a genocide when he sees one.

So there are questions to answer, aren’t there?

Big questions. And now. Thanks to two lefty, black punks. Maybe, just maybe, we can get to ask them.

Thanks lads.

That said, nothing justifies Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing.

But this isn’t just about Israel’s war crimes. It’s about Israel’s influence in my (and other) countries.

The International Court, who my country recognises the authority of has issued a warrant for Netanyahu’s arrest.

Please. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not pro-Hamas. Regardless of decades of provocation and violence from Israel, 7th October attacks were acts of terrorism. Murder of innocents including 33 kids will never be condoned. Hamas are terrorist filth from my perspective.

I’m just a bloke, who’s noticed that the story has become the cancelling of Bob Vylan and the censuring of the BBC, instead of our government’s complicity in a genocide.

And, more importantly, what influence for Israel do these contributions to a cabinet minister’s funding, buy?

I haven’t a Scooby. I literally just looked this stuff up today with google. And I’m not some investigative journalist.

15/05/24 - £40,000 - Stuart Roden (pro-Israel financier).
18/04/24 - £12,000 + £7,000 - Sir Trevor Chinn (zealous pro-Israel lobbyist and funder).

What incentives are given to the MPs in those groups to make them work on behalf of Israel in our UK parliament?

Are we allowed to see the books? Who, to pick the example of my own MP, Lisa Nandy (former Friend of Palestine, but now Friend of Israel), were the following donations from?

Just how much power does Israel have over my country and others? And how and why does it have that power and influence in my country?

Who funds the Labour and Conservative Friends of Israel political groups?

When we’re talking more about cancelling Bob Vylan than we are about politicians from many different parties from countries like the UK and the US (signatories of the Geneva Convention) that are pretending they don’t recognise a genocide when they see one, something is wrong.

When we’re talking more about cancelling Bob Vylan than we are about why the BBC refused to air the horrifying “Gaza - Doctors Under Attack” documentary that Ch4 showed last night, something is wrong.

When we’re talking more about cancelling Bob Vylan than we are about bringing that genocidal monster Netanyahu to The Hague to answer for his war crimes, something is wrong.

I think for most US farmers (ie the ones that voted Trump) this is their big FAFO moment.

And they absolutely deserve it.

As does everyone who thought they voted for cruelty to those they despise, only to find that they voted for cruelty to those Trump despises.

A list that includes them.

They voted for cruelty to others that they hate.

They voted for the hate. And were deaf to the warnings about what else they were voting for.

A country brought low by resentment, hatred and an army of stupid.

I’m entirely with you on the punching thing.

Welcome to life in a police state. Not Iran. Not China. Not Russia, North Korea or Saudi Arabia.

No. It’s the US. Where Lady Liberty herself stands shamed in the harbour. With everything she represented betrayed as the American Dream shuts up shop. And boot-boys come for people in their homes.

They voted for cruelty to others.

When he’s more cruel to the people that they hate than he is to them, they imagine that somehow they are winning.

It is as simple as that, sadly.

And it’s backfiring badly on some of them already.
