Ah, I still tinker in my spare time, but that's all at the moment. However, I might be going back into the analogue film world in the near future with a new venture........

You must have been rich. My set had a bit of track that narrowed for an opportunity to knock a car off the road :)

The cheap shutter speed test devices, really do struggle with reading above 125th accurately. I would suggest seeing if there is a friendly repair shop near you that can test the shutter.
